How often should I drain my RV water heater?
It’s important to drain your RV water heater at the end of every season. Any longer than that, you risk the water becoming stale and/or contaminated, which can give off a sulfur smell and may even be unhealthy if consumed. If you don’t flush your water heater yearly, buildup on the bottom of the water heater will become a breeding ground for that bacteria.
