Think of a pre-trip inspection like a safety net. You may feel confident in your RV, but even the most seasoned travelers can overlook something critical. When an RV sits in storage or goes unused for long periods, wear and tear, weather, or even rodents can cause damage that isn’t obvious until you’re on the road.
At a minimum, an RV pre-trip inspection should include a thorough check of:
Roof and Exterior
Your RV’s roof takes a beating from the elements, and leaks can develop without you knowing. A technician will look for soft spots, cracks, or failed sealants that could let water in. The exterior body, trim, and seams should also be checked for separation or weather damage.
Electrical System
From battery health to power converters, outlets, and shore power connections—your RV’s electrical system is crucial. A faulty connection or low battery could leave you without lights, refrigeration, or climate control.
LP Gas System
Your propane system powers many essential appliances. A leak or failed regulator can be dangerous. During an inspection, pressure tests and leak detection ensure everything is safe and functioning properly.
Appliances

Slide-Outs and Leveling Jacks
