At California RV Specialists, we’re not a dealership — we don’t sell RVs or push warranties. Our focus is on customer pay, insurance, and extended warranty repairs, helping our customers maintain and enjoy the RVs they already own.
We’re growing fast and looking for motivated individuals to join our team as General Labor / Helpers, Lot Porters, and RV Forklift Operator Apprentices. These positions are ideal for candidates who enjoy working outdoors, have an eye for detail, and are looking to build a career in the RV service industry.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN AND WORK ON
As a General Labor, Lot Porter, or Forklift Operator Apprentice, you’ll play a key support role in the daily operations of our RV service facility. You’ll work directly with technicians and advisors, learning how an RV repair center operates while gaining valuable technical and logistical experience.
Typical Duties Include:
- Moving RVs safely in and out of service bays and around the lot
- Assisting with forklift operations to position and move units
- Performing light cleaning, washing, and detailing of RVs
- Helping technicians with basic setup and teardown tasks
- Keeping the lot organized and ensuring clear traffic flow
- Assisting in shop cleanup, trash removal, and parts organization
- Supporting forklift loading/unloading and inventory movement
- Helping with customer vehicle check-ins and inspections
Types of Units You’ll Work Around:
Motorhomes, Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailers, Toy Haulers, Horse & Utility Trailers, and Tow Vehicles.
Brands Commonly Serviced:
Alliance, Brinkley, Coachmen, Dutchmen, Fleetwood, Forest River, Grand Design, Jayco, Keystone, Newmar, Outdoors RV, Winnebago, and more.
(Note: We no longer accept RVs built before 2005 without a pre-inspection.)
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in a clean and organized workspace, and wants to develop valuable shop and equipment-handling skills in the RV industry.
SCHEDULE
- Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent (students still in school are welcome)
- Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred)
- Ability to operate vehicles of various sizes (training provided)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Dependable, safety-minded, and motivated to learn
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude

TRAINING & GROWTH
We provide in-house training for safe vehicle handling, forklift operation, and general shop procedures. Apprentices receive hands-on guidance from experienced staff, with opportunities to advance into technician or operational support roles as skills develop.
