At California RV Specialists, we’re not a dealership — we don’t sell RVs or push warranties. Our focus is on customer pay, insurance, and extended warranty repairs, helping our customers maintain and enjoy the RVs they already own.

We’re growing fast and looking for a Service & Parts Advisor Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving, and wants to build a long-term career in the RV industry.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN AND WORK ON

As an RV Service & Parts Advisor Apprentice, you’ll train under experienced advisors to learn the full scope of customer and shop support operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience with customer communication, repair coordination, parts sourcing, and workflow management within a busy, independent RV repair facility.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Greeting customers and assisting with service needs
  • Creating and updating work orders in our management system
  • Coordinating between technicians, vendors, and customers
  • Writing estimates and communicating approvals for repairs
  • Researching, ordering, and tracking parts and accessories
  • Managing warranty and insurance claim documentation
  • Checking in and returning parts orders accurately
  • Maintaining organized service and parts records
  • Supporting technicians with parts distribution and logistics

Skills You’ll Develop:

  • Customer service and professional communication
  • Estimating and repair order writing
  • Vendor and supplier coordination
  • Inventory and parts management
  • RV system knowledge and repair process understanding

Types of RVs You’ll Support:
Motorhomes, Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailers, Toy Haulers, Horse & Utility Trailers, and Tow Vehicles.

Brands We Service:
Alliance, Brinkley, Coachmen, Dutchmen, Fleetwood, Forest River, Grand Design, Jayco, Keystone, Newmar, Outdoors RV, Winnebago, and more.
(Note: We no longer accept RVs built before 2005 without a pre-inspection.)

SCHEDULE

  • Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (students still in school are welcome)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (service writing experience a plus)
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Desire for long-term growth and teamwork

TRAINING & GROWTH

We provide in-house and vendor-sponsored training, giving you the tools, systems, and customer service knowledge needed to succeed in the RV industry. Apprentices learn real-world processes in service coordination, estimating, and parts management with hands-on mentorship and advancement opportunities.
