Are you still using traditional grease on your fifth-wheel hitch plate? There may be a cleaner and easier way!
At California RV Specialists, we offer Husky Towing Products Fifth-Wheel Hitch Lube Discs, available in 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch sizes.
These durable lube discs are designed to fit between the fifth-wheel hitch head and the trailer’s pin box plate, helping reduce friction during towing without the mess of applying grease to the hitch plate.
Benefits of Using a Husky Fifth-Wheel Lube Disc:
- Less Mess: Helps eliminate the need for messy grease on the hitch plate’s contact surface.
- Reduces Friction: Provides a low-friction surface between the hitch head and the trailer’s pin box plate.
- Helps Reduce Wear: Minimizes metal-to-metal contact between the mating surfaces.
- Cleaner Maintenance: Helps keep grease off your hands, clothing, and surrounding hitch components.
- Easy Installation: Designed to slip over the trailer’s kingpin for straightforward installation.
- Multiple Sizes: Available in 8″, 10″, and 12″ to accommodate different compatible fifth-wheel hitch applications.
- Convenient Replacement: The disc can be inspected for wear and replaced as needed.
Important: Always verify the correct disc size and compatibility with your hitch manufacturer. A lube disc does not replace required lubrication of the hitch’s jaws, locking mechanism, pivots, or other specified components.
